Kris Kringle
Kris Kringle was held at the Hagerstown Community College on Robinwood Drive - this was the first year at this location. It was a 2 day event with 250 vendors. It was an excellent mix of vendors - jewelry vendors were plenty but we were spaced out extremely well as to not overload. Several glass people - Denise O'Brien who did table wear and ornaments, Nathan ? who does boro pendants, ornaments, jars and pens, a stained glass person with some fused pendants, and me. The show was held in the gymnasium and had excellent access (2 loading docks, dollies provided by College). The parking was a disaster and needs improvement - too many trailers parked in spaces which could have been used for cars. The organizer will make them park in a separate area next year. The organizer also provided helpers for the vendors and they came around in the morning and noon time and took lunch orders - inside food vendor and an outside food vendor. Golfing carts were provided for vendors as well as shoppers. Application fee was $185 ($10 for electric). It was an excellent show for me - best of all year. Organizer is considering a fall show (September) for next year as well as this one.
