Colorfest

Let me begin by saying that Linda and I weren't in any of the areas considered as main areas for Colorfest.  But we were on the main street amongst the food vendors, yard sales, and parking areas.  I say this so you will understand that we were in a very busy traffic area.  You would think we would have had an amazing weekend but quite the opposite.  In a word - it stunk.   I have never done this bad in a show - EVER.  Thank goodness we didn't spend a lot of money for the booth.  We had a lot of traffic - going by us.  Most of the people didn't even look into the tent - just blew right by.  I have absolutely no idea what the issue was.  I guess if you weren't a funnel cake or some wooden yard ornament, it just wasn't your show.  A few other vendors didn't have a very good show either.  So Linda and I weren't alone.  I guess if you decide to do Colorfest - stay in the large areas sponsored by the town.  The only problem is that the booth fee is quite a bit more ($325.00).
